I was so happy to find this and have enjoyed working on the paint by number project. My only complaint is that it is very hard to read some of the numbered areas because they are so small. The brushes included will definitely not work for the smaller parts of the painting so I would recommend getting some very small bushes for the detailed parts. The picture that was included for reference is a very small sticker that is stretched out of proportion in comparison to the actual canvas. It also included a larger numbered reference guide, but this too is very hard to read. At this point I have finished the larger areas and will have to just use my best judgement to complete the rest. It will need a lot of “touching up” because some of the parts just don’t look right. The fish on the end of the fishing pole doesn’t even resemble anything like a fish so I will have to fix that too. I was able to find a picture of what this painting was based on and have included the photo for reference if anyone needs it.

So when you think outside of the box EVERYONE WINS! I ordered these so we could all have our own paintings and enjoy time together as a family and its worked out really well. Who Knew!!! They come w/ a “legend” or a “paper copy” w/ the numbers incase you color over a number and need to figure out your mistake. WELL GUESS WHAT I DID! I took that opportunity to create myself a side project and I opted to use the “paper copy” to color w/ color pencils and boy oh boy have I enjoyed myself! The actual paintings were not the easiest to do, hence all the detail on them. I took my time and they turned out exactly like the photo I sent and the preview they gave me. I had some canvas paintings that needed to be framed a got a professional quote for about $600. I ended up framing the paintings (a lot more than in the picture) myself with these frame kit for much less. The kit was easy to use and final outcome was very impressive. I did end up using a staple gun to ensure the canvas stayed put but then again I cut my canvas shorter than recommended by the seller. I also ordered custom sizes and Goodartstory’s response and delivery was prompt. Both regular and custom sizes worked worked perfectly!

I finished and the colors are way off from what they are supposed to be. (first picture is original) And I had to make an orange for myself to use as I ran out because the canvas kept bleeding thru on that specific color provided. Canvas bled thru bout half the colors. Still a nice picture but the colors bother me as I know what they’re supposed to be. But the quality of canvas and speed of shipping give it a higher review would have been a 3 if not for that

I got my order in right under the wire and this arrived just as quarantine was beginning in my state. I noticed it listed as unavailable just a couple of days later, so I must have gotten really lucky. Unbelievably fast turn around, ordered on 3/18, delivered on 3/26. The kit even included extra paint for colors that were used more often! I do wish the paint were a little thicker, I have to do multiple coats when using some colors, but for the price, I really couldn’t expect much better. I don’t know if I’ll ever get this thing done, there are so many details in the picture I chose!

Painting these pictures is definitely a great way to pass the time. I bought the autumn picture and I would say it was about a medium difficulty. I paint little by little each day and It took me about a week to finish. I am not the best when it comes to art, but these paintings can make anyone an exceptional artist. You do not really have to have top talent to complete one of these and that is why I like them so much. The numbers are pretty easy to see and the canvas that it came with is made out of some high quality material. It also came with all the color and paint brushes you need. Price was not bad at all and I thoroughly enjoyed painting it. Definitely will be buying more!

The frames came well packaged. They are a good weight, and not cheaply made. They were extremely easy to set up and frame my painting. My only complaint is that the glue strips released on two sides of one painting. Regardless of that, these frames are the way to go in terms of ease and function.

Love this paint by number! I cannot speak for everyone, but the framing system included just didn’t work for me. The little slats where the wood is supposed to meet just aren’t big enough. And the wood itself is pine and is unfinished. However, scrap the wood and you have a gorgeous project! The paint can dry a little, but since it’s ACRYLIC (not oil), add a few drops of water and you’re good to go! Very vibrant piece! I can honestly say I can’t wait to finish it!
